Support Nepal Acupuncture and Social Work Charity
It is my honor to have met and worked with a dedicated Chinese Medicine practitioner in Nepal, who runs a local acupuncture clinic in Patan, Kathmandu, offering affordable private treatment. He has been coordinating and organising social work projects for many years, in association with local Nepali social working groups, foreign charities, and other interested individuals.

His name is Dr. Shyam Maharjan, and we have been acquainted now for more than 10 years. I was happy to participate in a few local ‘Health Camps’ in Kathmandu, and in Lumbini over the years. Dr. Maharjan has dedicated much of his time to underserved populations, poor, or rural groups that have no or little access to health care. Honestly, it is an impressive grass roots undertaking with a growing track record.
For some time he has been assisting not only using Chinese Medicine, but also supporting a group of women who are often without a fixed residence, living on the streets, and in need of psychiatric support. He manages to provide them medication on a weekly basis through donations.
If you would like to help, please reach out to me, or to him directly, through his website www.nepalacupuncture.com. You can explore his social work projects through his professional facebook profile. Even small contributions of 5-10 CHF can make a difference.
Thank you for your consideration. धन्यवाद 🙏.
